Yes, even more
Kinect launch hit Kinectimals is getting a new upgrade in the shape of Kinectimals Now with Bears, released on 14th October. Microsoft is teaming up with leading cub-stuffer Build-A-Bear Workshop to promote the game with some new exclusive toys.
The chain will be offering four collectible bears starting at £15 each. Like the earlier Kinectimals plush toys, the bears contain Microsoft Tag technology, meaning you can scan them with Kinect to unlock digital versions in-game.
The two companies are also teaming up for a competition, offering 10 lucky winners a 4GB Xbox 360, Kinect, Kinectimals Now with Bears and £100 to spend in Build-A-Bear Workshop, kicking off from 14th October.
As you know, “Kinectimals Now with Bears” adds a new island of adventure to “Kinectimals” including ten new cute and cuddly bear cubs. Today, we’re announcing the game can be brought to life in a whole new way with four Build-A-Bear Workshop “Kinectimals Now with Bears” furry friends available on 14th October at a Build-A-Bear Workshop store near you and at buildabear.co.uk®! The four collectible bears start at £15.00 and will include Microsoft Tag technology, which allows players to scan the bear’s tag with Kinect for Xbox 360 to unlock matching bear cubs in the game.
But the fun doesn’t end there! You can enter the Build-A-Bear Workshop Kinect for Xbox 360 competition. Ten lucky winners will receive a Kinect for Xbox 360 prize pack that includes an Xbox 360 4GB console, a Kinect sensor, “Kinectimals Now with Bears” and a £100 gift card to Build-A-Bear Workshop! Enter any Build-a-Bear Workshop or visit buildabear.co.uk® from October 14th to register for your chance to win.

Will this be DLC? Is there a US release date?

DLC - yes, it's called Bear Island and it's out in a few weeks. Not 100% sure on a release date but I'll investigate!
