Go Gaga
Konami's Rhythm Party is a week away, and now we have a tracklist showing the songs you'll be grooving to come 1st February.
Including famous tracks from Lady Gaga to Bobby Brown alongside original compositions, the game's emphasis is on "open" dancing — rather than following set choreography, you're encouraged to dance however you like.
Out on 1st February for 800 Microsoft Points, we'll bring you a Rhythm Party review soon.

KONAMI details new Kinect dance title for Xbox 360
Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH today announced an all-new dance title for Xbox 360, entitled Rhythm Party. The game will be available on February 1st via the Xbox LIVE® Arcade service, and has been designed exclusively for use with Kinect™ for Xbox 360.
The key to Rhythm Party is a total freedom of movement in front of the motion sensor peripheral. The new game offers ‘open format’ dancing so, unlike other music and dancing games, does not rely on contrived choreography. Instead, as the player’s silhouette is shown on screen, players can move to the beat and groove freely to create their own performance.
These dances are rated as they coincide with performance ‘ripples’ on screen, with points and bonuses awarded that bolster the player’s score. These moves then throw the player into a world of vivid color, wild backgrounds and graphical psychedelia as outlandish interactive backgrounds such as electric carnivals, wild discos and Spanish cafes complement the on-screen moves.
Ryhthm Party also incorporates a number of party classics by some of today’s biggest artists, and exclusive collaborations created especially for the game.
