This just in: still looks great
Grounding Inc.'s hands-free dragon game just got its official name: Crimson Dragon.
Formerly known as Project Draco, director Yukio Futatsugi — creator of Panzer Dragoon, remember — revealed the new title at a demo event in Japan's Akihabara district, and brought some new high-resolution screenshots and game details too.
The shooter will feature seven worlds, six playable dragons and over 100 skills to use as your dragon evolves depending on how you play. You can use your custom dragon in the three-player online co-op mode, too.
Futatsugi also revealed the game is being co-developed by Land Ho, the team behind Just Dance Kids 2. Before you get all up in arms, it's worth pointing out that Land Ho also ported the original Panzer Dragoon to PlayStation 2 as part of the SEGA AGES range in Japan, so it knows the territory.
Still no word on a release date or price yet but with Futatsugi claiming the game is being developed with a "higher quality and volume than you'd expect from an Xbox Live Arcade title" we absolutely cannot wait.
