With just under a month to go, Microsoft and 343 Industries have at last announced the Kinect features for Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary.

Only accessible when playing with the updated graphics — because Kinect wasn't around 10 years ago, of course — you can reload or chuck a grenade with the "reload" or "grenade" commands. Whether or not you'll be able to map your own voice commands to buttons we don't know, but we'd love to shout "melee" at our Kinects to bash in some heads.

The other Kinect-exclusive feature is the Library. In-game you can say "analyse" and proceed to scan enemies, items and objects to an in-game encyclopedia, which lets you learn more about the characters and mythology of the Halo universe. Imagine the scan visor in Metroid Prime Trilogy on Wii and you're there.

Halo fans can check out a new video on the features today on Halo Waypoint. What do you make of these newly revealed features? Will they be enough to entice you to step into Halo with Kinect?
