Granddaddy of all 3D fighting games, Virtua Fighter, is rightly respected as one of the finest gaming series known to man: a delicate balance of dexterity and mental acuity, it's not called "speed chess" by its fans for nothing. That's why it's so genuinely exciting to hear that Virtua Fighter creator Yu Suzuki — the man also responsible for Shenmue, Outrun and more — is working on a brand new Kinect fighting game.
Suzuki has joined Premium Agency as an executive game producer, bringing to bear his countless years of game development experience on a new, unannounced Kinect fighting game.
As well as Virtua Fighter, Suzuki also worked on the innovative touch screen fighter Psy-Phi, so we hope to see equally innovative control methods in his upcoming Kinect project.
