Fetch!
After a long wait, The Sims came to Xbox 360 last year in the moderately enjoyable form of The Sims 3, but we won't have to wait another half-decade to try the series again if this latest rumour is anything to go by.
According to a leaked interview posted on a German site, The Sims: Unleashed is coming to 360 later this year with support for voice control through Kinect. According to EA producer Ben Bell:
Xbox 360 will enable players with Kinect to use voice control. Imagine how it would be when your Sim-dog would sit down, when you would say “Sit!” Voice control works with normal Sims as well. We’re really excited about this feature, because it is really fun!
While we can't imagine controlling all our Sim's day-to-day activities with our voices, despite the obvious allure of having someone do everything you say, if implemented well this could be an interesting feature at least.

let the pre e3 hyper boil begin! MS said 10 unannounced games right? So far we have:
1-sims
2-ghost recon
3-zero person shooter
4-kinect googly eyes
5-kinect fun lab
6-kinect sports 2
7-dance central 2
8-ubisoft sequels
9-lionhead game
10-kinect gears of war
With all these leaks and Kinect Skype inevitable. . . I hope we are surprised by a thing or 2. Waiting for e3 is getting as painful as ever

Microsoft is terrible at keeping secrets.

I may be getting my wires crossed but why couldn't voice control work without kinect...I.e a bog standard mic like end war?

I think it would work with a headset but Kinect's voice recognition is far better

So during a regular game like Halo:Reach could you use a Kinect as a headset during online play?
