Guns at the ready
Activision's PETA-bothering shooter series Cabela's Hunting has already made the jump across to motion control on PlayStation 3 with the release of Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2011 on PlayStation Move, but Activision may have plans to incorporate Kinect control into the series too.
During a recent conference call, Activision publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg alluded to Kinect support in the future of the franchise:
For the balance of the year, we plan to launch games based on the best-selling X-Men and Spider-Man franchises, James Bond and the toy phenomenon Bakugan as well as the latest release in the long-standing Cabela’s Hunting franchise, which we’re expanding this year to include new peripherals and an incredible Kinect experience.
It's not 100% certain that this is an announcement of Kinect support for Cabela's Dangerous Hunts as the insertion of a single comma would change Hirshberg's statement completely, so treat this as a rumour until Activision announces more.
