A pair of titles out now
A welcome sight on the shelves of European retailers today, with two Kinect titles making their way across the pond. Next week looks like being a bumper week too, with another pair of games available to purchase next Friday. For now let's see what's on sale today.
Carnival Games - In Action!
Known as Carnival Games: Monkey See, Monkey Do in North America, this is a Kinect-exclusive entry in the multimillion-selling 2K Play series. Players can use their voice to speak to The Amazing Wodin and receive a prediction for the future, as well as play 20 games and attractions. We'll have a full review for you next week.
Brunswick Pro Bowling
If you're bored of the bowling in Kinect Sports this probably isn't the best way for you to get another pin fix. Appalling Kinect controls make this one a game to avoid; you can read more in our Brunswick Pro Bowling review.
Will you be buying anything this week?

Carnival Games came out in USA Tuesday, now Friday and it's out in UK, and STILL not a single review for it anywhere on the WWW!! That has to be a bad sign surely??

: some gamers already gave a score on Gamespot. Currently 6 users voted wich results in a score of 5.6/10. I really looked forward to this game until I saw some gameplay footage and these scores don't predict that I will change opinion.

Decato the trouble with Gamespot user scores are ps3 fanboys troll the games and rate them all 1 or 0 out of 10...often for games not even released yet! I'd love to know what people who've actually played it think. Look forward to the review here but not holding my breath on this being good sadly.

I have this game. My 3 5 and 7 yr. old boys love it. My wife and I think this is a fun drinking game but even with 20 games almost all of them get old real fast for adults. Also there are games where you are to throw a ball (like at milk bottles or at a target on a dunk tank) and they require that you make a throwing motion at a specific time and they are highly dissapointing because they require no accuracy. All in all its good for kids and can be amusing for (drunk) adults. If you are looking for a new level of accuracy or don't have kids-the games get old fast so rent first! There is a game where you swing a baseball bat in a batting cage that works even while you hold an object-I found this very cool but it still got old after a bit. . . much better if you have another adult and your both drunk

Davahsa thank you thats the first I've ever read from someone whos played it. That does sound dissapointing it was the accuracy of the throwing etc I was interested in and was worried it wouldnt require accuracy. it is a worry that this is as good as kinect can get ...and so far no games are very accurate! If Microsoft have the ability to improve the accuracy I suggest they might want to hurry it up before everyone sells their kinects!
