Having spent millions of dollars developing Kinect you won't be surprised that the company is keen to keep advancing the technology, with a recent job posting pointing towards new versions of the device.
While the advert doesn't give any solid information as to what the future of Kinect may be, it does confirm that it plays a big part in Microsoft's plans for the future of Xbox, with the company investing heavily to bring advancements to the next console and sensor.
What do you think the next Kinect will do that the current model can't?

Maybe more camera shots from different angles so they can create more of a 3D image or include the player in scenes of games more? The sound from speaker needs to be better too, clearer and less echo! Maybe a moving kinect on a rail- connecting to top of TV screens to get various angles! Just sign me up Microsoft- I'll sort it out for ya! Lol

They're always working on new hardware revisions: new controllers, new consoles, new technology. I'd wager we won't see another Kinect until the next Xbox so you have plenty of time
