Synaesthesia unleashed
Ask most hardcore Xbox 360 owners which Kinect game they're most looking forward to and they'll likely say Ubisoft's Child of Eden, the successor to legendary Dreamcast shooter Rez. If you've missed all the hubbub about the game, the video below might convince you to start saving in anticipation of it's mid-June release.
Developed by Q? Entertainment, headed up by ex-Sega producer Tetsuya Mizuguchi – a man who produced Sega Rally, Space Channel 5 and Rez during his time at Japan's renowned blue skies company — the game is a shooter with a difference, merging graphical and audio sensations to create synaesthesia. Players familiar with Mizuguchi's peculiar brand of musical gameplay will know what to expect, but the addition of hands-free control through Kinect could elevate this above his previous output.
