But it's a good effort
The gentleman in this queue for Kinect may have been paid to stand there but that doesn't mean he didn't get a Kinect out of it. Unfortunately his apartment isn't quite big enough to get the most out of the sensor, as this picture proves.
With Japanese accommodation being notoriously small it's not an uncommon problem across the country and one that will no doubt make it even harder for the sensor to succeed over there.
Good luck playing Dance Central all the same, though.

Doesn't even look like enough space to play xbox. the TV will melt his face off being that close.

He just needs to relocate the TV. Stick it to the window looking thing in the center of the picture and then throw out all that other useless stuff (desk, chairs, plant, uhhh..humidifier, ashtray, purse? and that darned refrigerator) and he's all set. Oh and get a surge protector for chrissakes.

Why not go the full hog! Mount the TV in the window and play from the appartment building opposite!

I think this kind of spells doom for Kinect in Japan. Or at least, those in such small apartments buildings.
